What's your reason for carrying a knife with you?
I'm just curious on why people carry knives with them. I personally carry mine everywhere just because it always comes in handy (plus I kind of feel like a badass.....lol) But I'm wondering what other people's reasons for carrying their trusty pocketknife or multitool are. Cheers guys!
Well, I work in a warehouse and use a knife everyday for cutting open pallet wrap, plastic sheeting, straps, boxes, and cutting packing materials to size so stock doesn't get damaged in storage/transit.
I also carry a knife (actually 2, I have a small swiss army knife on my keyring I use for the other tools, but the knife blade is handy if I forget my main knife) everyday when I'm not at work. When I'm in the city it's mainly used for cutting open the excessive packaging everything seems to come in these days, but I've used it for just about everything over the years.
I can't understand why most people don't carry a knife! The amount of times I've had to lend my knife to someone... come on people, slap a swiss army knife on your keyring; it makes life so much easier!
